Description
It took my breath away to watch the 2017 solar eclipse! We had driven to Glendo State Park in Wyoming, leaving the house at 3:30 a.m. to arrive at 9:15 (bumper to bumper at the exit), just in time to set up our tripods.
This image shows the very end of totality, when the sun just started to peek over the edge of the moon, to shine through the craters on the edge of the moon -- thus producing a few glorious "beads". Also, you can see a faint solar flare behind the beads. An unbelievably beautiful show!
Photo taken on August 21, 2017, at 11:47 a.m. in Glendo State Park, WY.

This is an absolutely amazing capture! Certainly hope to see it one day
Judi Dressler replied:
Definitely worth seeing if you get a chance; it helps to look through a telephoto lens, but no matter how, a total solar eclipse in an event you remember! Thank you, Chance.
