Description
This is my favorite shot of Cupid, a captive Barn Owl that participated in a demonstration workshop. Here he is *just* landing at the branch and about to close his talons around it! I was very excited to get this shot of the exact moment! Isn't the name Cupid perfect for him? He looks so angelic!
Barn owls are nocturnal, and are dead silent when they fly. They will hunt in open fields, and have an eery raspy call.
