Description
It was a frigid morning, with the temperature at 5 degrees F when I drove past this scene. A soft snow had fallen the night before, so the ground was covered in white and trees showed a white outline. A gentle foggy mist rose from the stream, partially obscuring the distant trees.
Traffic was stop and go, so I pulled onto the shoulder at the first opportunity, and ran back with my camera. A short time later, I heard the honking of Canada Geese, which flew across the background, a beautiful final touch.
