Description

A Red Fox family was nesting in the culvert at the end of a friend's yard, and I was excited to be invited over to photograph them! They are nocturnal, so mom was very likely sleeping, but these young kits wanted to stay up and play!

From National Geographic: "Red foxes live around the world in many diverse habitats including forests, grasslands, mountains, and deserts. They also adapt well to human environments such as farms, suburban areas, and even large communities. The red fox's resourcefulness has earned it a legendary reputation for intelligence and cunning."
