Judi Dressler was invited to exhibit her art work at the renowned Avalon Ballroom in Boulder, Colorado at the beginning of May, 2018. This is quite an honor, as the ballroom attracts hundreds of dancers every week, and features excellent art on a rotating basis. Judi's photos were exhibited for 11 months at the ballroom, and were scheduled to be taken down in April, 2019. Judi sold several images during this period.

I was so happy to win with my Sparring Flickers photo. Following is the caption for the photo:
"I had just gone into the kitchen for a cup of tea, when I saw these two Northern Flickers on my deck railing, staring each other down and doing their head dance. A few minutes later, they flew up at each other in an aerial confrontation, and then took off in different directions."

Judi Dressler presented as one of a panel of 10 "Best Photographers" at Denver Audubon's Share the View International Nature Photography Contest at Denver's CU South Denver IMAX theater. Below is the letter inviting her to participate:
"Based on your excellent Top 250 finish in the 2017 Share the View International Nature Photography Contest, you are invited to be part of the program February 14th on the IMAX screen at University of Colorado Denver -South. Ten photographers will present 10 images each while telling the story behind them in 3 ½ minutes. We’d like you to be one of them.
Rather than just showing a series of pictures, we’re looking for presentations on the theme of Discovery. An experience, a special technique or a memorable story are examples of what we’d like to see. Has your camera unexpectedly revealed something that will surprise us? Is there a special subject or location you’ve explored over time? Do you have a message you'd like to...
