These two Sandhill Cranes were off by themselves after most of the cranes had flown off in the early morning. The one on the right seems to be trying to impress the other one; most likely a male doing a courtship dance for the female. I love the sun on their feathers! I had driven down to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico, where they winter over, to photograph these amazing birds, and was not disappointed!
